Documented package: MobileControllers v7.0.0
Mobile Controller For Game Creator 2 extends GC2's existing input and camera systems rather than replacing them. The current package provides Game Creator InputPropertyValueVector2 options for movement, camera orbit, zoom, and touch position, plus reusable touch-stick skins/prefabs and older prefab-based compatibility workflows.
| Category | Count | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Visual Scripting Instructions | 1 | Change Zoom Distance â legacy pinch-zoom instruction for GC2 Shots. |
| Visual Scripting Conditions | 0 | No custom Mobile Controller Conditions are defined in v7.0.0. |
| Visual Scripting Triggers | 0 | No custom Trigger type is defined. The Camera Zoom prefab uses a normal GC2 Trigger, which is not counted as a module-specific Trigger. |
| Visual Scripting Events | 0 | No custom Mobile Controller Event class is defined. |
| Vector2 Input Properties | 24 | Shared movement, Player-aware camera/zoom, non-Player-aware Full/Half/Safe Touch variants, inversion variants, and Touch Position. |

Counts above are for MobileControllers v7.0.0 itself. Built-in Game Creator 2 Instructions, Triggers, TouchStick components, and other GC2 systems used by the examples are not counted as custom Mobile Controller features.

Shared Left Stick keeps one GC2 movement joystick alive across multiple Character input instances and Player switching. Shared Custom Stick does the same using your own GC2 TouchStick Skin.
Best use case: games that switch playable Characters, spawn/destroy Characters, or otherwise risk duplicate on-screen joystick canvases.
The included Mobile Controller Floating Movement Stick appears at the initial press position, resets around that touch, follows drag input through GC2's Touch Stick, and hides again on release.
Best use case: action/RPG mobile controls where the player should be able to begin movement from anywhere inside a left-side movement region instead of reaching for a fixed joystick.
The included Mobile Controller Camera Rotation Stick is a visible floating camera joystick prefab/TouchStick Skin. It forwards pointer drag to a GC2 Touch Stick and supports X/Y inversion in its compatibility handler.
Best use case: existing prefab-based scenes or games that intentionally want a visible camera joystick instead of direct screen dragging.
Half-Right Touch For Mobile is not a visible stick. It is an invisible camera-drag input that accepts touches only from the right half of the display. The With Player variant also reserves the movement finger while the Character is moving.
Best use case: the common mobile layout with movement on the left and camera orbit by dragging the right half of the screen.

Camera Rotation Stick and Half-Right Touch are different workflows. Use the Rotation Stick when you want a visible joystick UI. Use Half-Right Touch when you want direct swipe/orbit control on the right half with no camera joystick shown.
